The coaching staff of Crossover Skills Academy possesses over 50 years of High School coaching experience at some of the top programs in the Chicagoland area. Through their extensive coaching careers, Crossover Skills Academy has identified several deficiencies in young basketball players and developed several programs to address those deficiencies. These programs of skill development camps will focus on improving your athlete’s overall basketball game and prepare him or her for the next level of competition. Our camps will cover ball handling, shooting mechanics, passing, play making and intangible competitive edge drills.

JULY 2015 Camps will be held at LOYOLA ACADEMY

Skill Development and Competitive Advantage Camp (4th-8th grade)- will be held on Sunday mornings from 9am-10:30 at Loyola. This camp is focused on enhancing fundamental ball handling, shooting, and passing through competitive drills. We will also drill the defensive fundamentals of boxing out, rebounding, taking charges and getting to loose balls. Every aspect of this camp will involve competition. Begins June 28th to July 26th. No camp 4th of July weekend.

Shooting Clinic (4th-8th grade)- This camp is all about becoming a more accurate shooter. We will focus on upper body mechanics and lower body footwork and balance. Players will be recorded on video so we can help them correct and improve their shooting form. This camp will run on Saturdays from 10:30-11:30 beginning June 28th to July 26th at Loyola. No camp 4th of July weekend.
